When meeting a potential someone, to date or what not, how much do you reveal about yourself? I have myself been less forthcoming recently, not many guys want to hear u have it together (good job) play tennis, ride horses, shoot guns etc.. Is it a turn off when a girl is independent ?w

I would just be honest with myself and the person and just get straight to the point at an appropriate moment.Maybe I would say something like ....hey you know I have been meaning to say this for sometime, but I think you are hot and there's something about you that attracts me....blah...blah. At-least then I would know where I stand.
I try, a lot of guys in this city can't drive a manual, even my dog is intimidating to most ( not a purse dog), it's exasperating

I don't know why guys wouldn't want to hear about you playing tennis. Tennis players tend to have pretty great bodies. I've found women who ride horses attractive, and very down to earth, generally. Horses are pretty intense creatures. And I don't think they take to a-holes to well. lol
And shooting is all sorts of fun.

You would think, and I run almost daily the lakefront when it's not an ice skating ring, and my horse well nobody but barn owner handles him , true a hole, his other name
