Hmmm? Too many Hipsters. Drive a couple of hundred miles south to San Francisco or mayve North to seattle.

Portland and Seattle are almost the same in terms of dating she is just going to have the same luck in Seattle as she is having in Portland right now.

And once you're at Powell's, there are lots of good restaurants and clubs within easy walking distance.

And a delightful little chocolate shop three blocks away.

Where were you when I lived in Portland?

It always seemed the opposite problem in my opinion. The town was a complete and utter sausage fest everywhere you'd go, there was like one girl for every five guys in any joint, and they were hitched to their long-time boyfriends. Most guys I knew just gave up and resigned themselves to a life of singledom, celibacy, and visiting strip joints. It was one of the main reasons I got the eff out of there. If you can't find a dude there, I don't know what you are doing wrong.

Are you referring to Portland, Maine, Texas or Oregon, or elsewhere?

OP didn't mention Powells.

Good bookstore.

Portland OR kind of sketched me out, I didn't know it was strip clubby.

Maine is awesome.
