Yep, WW2 generation was a great generation, that is all long gone, I just assume become part of Russia at this point. It would get rid of women voting rights, family law courts and a whole host of other problems in one fall swoop. What is there to defend in the USA as a man, groveling to gain favor with women?
Why would I defend people who don't want me around lol. I think it was on this forum where some woman military member had a battle buddy and when they returned from deployment he asked her out, only she had her man waiting for her and my guess is he had some porn waiting for him yippee .
I like having choices, I would fight for that, I wont fight for what America has become today, it would make absolutely no sense.
I would have no problems waiting for a woman back in WW2 days before so many women were trashy, in fact that was back before feminism and all the family law nonsense so I would probably have waited till marriage ..... if I was the one with the spread sheet. I would have had no problems spending money on her (once I picked her out of a line up) if I knew that women were socially ostracized (in a way that had significant social meaning/consequences) for sucking off some bad boy dude. I would have no problems waiting because I would know that I was the one that controlled the pace.
I had heard that Russia was like 60 years behind us but I also heard that Russian women are not like 1940's and 50's American women, they are looking for a green card and that is all. Perhaps not all but enough of them to give them a stigma. I guess in 1950s USA there was no where to go the USA was it.
Something is brewing and when what ever happens happens the guys being treated like second class citizens are not going to step up and there is no reason for them too.
This you know I knew a women about two years back with an abusive boyfriend and I told her he wasn't good for her. She responds by calling me ugly and saying she doesn't need my advice well a couple of days past and I come home to see her boyfriend whuppin that ass. As Im walking to my house her friend asks me to help I ignore them and walk in my house later on I get a knock at my door and its the girl who who called me ugly and she wants me to write a statement about the incident. I tell her that I didn't see anything and shut my my door she didn't want my help then she's not getting it now whenever I see women in trouble I remember that women are empowered they dont need men.

Ok, refusing to help and then refusing to file a report was highly immoral. You need to go to the police and tell them you would like to file a report before she gets hurt again. And next time you see him abusing her, save her!!
A few months ago, this mentally disturbed man was harassing women on the light rail here in Silicon Valley, and when one woman started to get off the train he tried following her, so I put my hand on his shoulder and told him "that's close enough, buddy." Then she ran off the train and grew ran after her, so I followed and got between him and the woman. He was yelling nonsense like "if you don't get out of the way I'm coming after both of you!". But I stood my ground to defend the woman. Finally the man went back inside the train. We told the story to the driver, and be locked the doors, trapping the man inside, and said he had already called the sheriff who was coming to arrest the man. The woman said "thank you so much, that was really scary!". I was too shy to reply to her so she walked away.
I did this because I know some Taekwondo (studied it in high school, used it in self defense against bullies), I served our great country on submarines in the Navy, and I am a real man.

The funny thing is a month later a federal mershall knocks on my door with a picture of the guy asking if I have seen him. The marshall said that she ha gotten back with him and he stabbed her whos fault is that? I have my own life to live.

Abusers have a psychological hold over their victims, as well as a physical one. If they have a kid, he will tell her that if she calls the police, the kid will be taken away. Or, he knows where her family lives and will kill them all. Hes watching her, and will know if anyone has been around, and intimidating stuff like that.
Maybe she told you you were ugly, to help keep both you and herself safe? She was in a bad situation, afterall. If you werent going to stand up for her, which you would have naturally done if you even cared as much as someone would for a frightened animal that had been hit by a car - she didnt need the aftermath that would come from a casual acquaintance with someone other than her abuser. She was already being abused.
She did turn to you for help, and you turned a blind eye for whatever reason. By doing that you only reinforced her belief that she did the right thing by pushing you away in the first place.
Some abusers also have a financial hold - she couldnt get away as she had nowhere to go. No means to make a substancial move that would free her from the situation.
On the other hand, she may have been a big psycho and saved you a lot of drama.
In either case, you did nothing when it mattered for you to, so whats the point of this story on an anonymous forum now?

That was entirely your fault. Granted maybe you don't have military training or martial arts knowledge to come to her aid when she was being abused but you absolutely should have testified against the abuser. So it was entirely your fault.

You could have avoided all of that by making the police report. Without your word it was her word against his. Your actions were disgraceful.
You said she was stabbed, did she live through the attack? Her blood is on your hands. When a weaker person is being attacked in front of you, there is a moral responsibility to defend them however you can, regardless of gender (women have this responsibility as well, toward men and women). It was unspeakably immoral for you to stand idly by because she did not leave him for you.
I never saw that woman on light rail again; I didn't come to her aid because I thought I could sleep with her, but because it was the right thing to do, and I had the training and martial arts knowledge to do it.
Regardless of whether you are able to be with her as a result, there is right and there is wrong, and what you did was wrong.

The thing is if things got out of hand and really ugly there is court precedence that says you could have been in deep legal trouble. Even if you won in court it would have probably bankrupted you for your legal defense.
I would never go violent unless I associated myself with organized crime and was prepared to go all the way. Law enforcement is afraid of certain criminal elements and I would see to it I never wore hand cuffs or saw the inside of a court room.
Also why should the other poster have defended a woman who basically spit in his face. If he filed a report he could have been drug into court to testify which can be highly disruptive to your life depending how long the case drags out.
What exactly is "right" defending a population of condescending adult children. When the population started worshiping the golden calf they were all massacred. I am not interested in defending people who think I am of no value, steal from me or condone such actions which is a VERY large percentage of the US population these days. SO many people use courts or other govt entities as a form of legalized theft.
I don't think the OP wants to lose his virginity, especially to a hooker. How about forming a support group. Talk to a priest, they are supposed to be virgins all their lives, not sure how many are.
