Why not? If he's a good dancer, it's a few minutes of fun. Could be eye candy, too. Some guys look cute, others sexy, while they dance. That doesn't mean it has to go any further. Just enjoy the moment. If you can't do that, then don't go to places where there is dancing. It would be your loss, though, because some women size men up by how they dance. If you look uncomfortable or put out by it, you could be blowing chances without even realizing it. It might not be that they don't want anything from guys. They just might not want anything from you if you have a lousy attitude about it.

The reason is that women are very sick of males who refuse to dance! I wouldn't complain about this. It shows they are fun and active and can do more than sit around and get wasted.

Why are you so angry about women dancing?
If it makes you unhappy, don't go to those places. If you don't dance, why are you going to dance venues?

To answer another of your questions, women do dance with their friends. I've seen women dancing alone and women dancing with their gf's quite a bit.

When my friends and I REALLY wanted to be left alone to dance, we'd just go to a gay club. Bonus: No line for the ladies' room!

I used to think that it might mean a women was interested in you if she asked you to dance but not anymore. Last night a girl asked me to dance and I told her I don't dance and she started begging so I went ahead and danced anyway but I don't know why since it didn't get me anywhere, not even a quick conversation. I think if you could dig a corpse up from the grave, attach some stings to it and dangle it from above women would dance with it.

So if this is true it begs the question, what's the point of dancing with women if it has no bearing on whether or not they're interested in you?
You have to remember, while for most men, dancing is just a way to meet women, a lot of women just like dancing.

Then take a class and learn. Grinding is not a very respectful way of dancing. No woman want's some stranger's junk up on her. Ask a woman to dance, then afterward escort her back to the floor like a gentleman. You can take a basic swing or salsa class to learn how to dance. No one expects you to be a dance pro, we women just expect you to have manners.
