Yep. My ex couldn't handle it. And me baking bread every few days. A German without bread is no happy camper. Don't take somebody from a different country and then complain about their culture. Both parties have to adjust and make compromises, otherwise it won't work.

The Ukraine is probably full of women right now who would love to escape to the USA. There are pretty women in that part of the world, and if their motivation is to escapre a war, you might be able to marry one who isn't even a retired prostitute. I'd bet that there are school teachers and store clerks available right now.
Foreign school teachers and store clerks are not stupid either and marry a socially awkward and ugly guy from the US who can't get an American woman to love him and stay with him forever happily after.
Um, that's stereotyping of the guys that I'm not sure is accurate (although great ones don't catalog-shop), but if anything store clerks do tend to be dumb. Anyway, I'm not really interested in mail-order, but I am keen on meeting European-born locals (except for Russians, who scare me).
