I guess you might be asking if the sexual orientation would change to hetero if the relationship were good.

I think that the number of people who want an emotionally healthy marriage but do not want sex (for any reason) is very small.

I want to hear more about a person who is "baffled" by the notion of sexuality/sexual orientation. Does this mean they are never sexually aroused?

I really think that if someone is truly asexual and wants to be in a marriage, their only fair option is to marry someone else who is asexual, or otherwise has zero expectation of sex.
