I know women are different, but still i would end this. And focus on your appearance. Do whatever in you capabilities to be as good looking as you can be til you get uber confident

I have heard men make comments about a girlfriend not being that good looking to others but I don't know if they also say it to their girlfriend to her face . There say they like them anyway and it doesnt matter. I have also heard woman say that to others about their boyfriends and husbands.

It's also possible that a person can consider their partner attractive but be aware that others do not and so they make the statement that their partner's looks don't matter to them.

Look, I see you're in India. We are mostly Americans commenting here, so I'm not sure what the cultural mores ARE in India. Here, that would be considered pretty rude. But I know in some countries the US definitions of kindness and courtesy are largely irrelevant. For example, I've heard that Russians think we smile too much and consider it rude and insincere.

I've gone out with guys that I knew were technically not "hot" by conventional standards. But that had nothing to do with my attraction to them. What REALLY troubles me is that your girlfriend felt the need to mention that she has gone out with men who are much hotter. There's no reason for that.

Maybe she's just really socially inept, but I'd say you're right to be upset - by my US standards

He's gay. There's been multiple guys come out and say he's sexually harrassed them. And I'm not going the route of saying he dances too well to be straight. His dancing to me doesn't matter.

Although it hurt, I feel like I've fallen into my own trap - because I always say looks don't matter, only personality does. So now I can't even confront her. Still, it hurts to know that your SO doesn't think you're attractive. I already have low self-esteem and think I am a 3 even when most people say I am an 8. But for gf to treat me like a 3 is

Am I wasting my time with her?
Guys don't need to be good looking. Guys can be hot by the way they act, talk, gestures, behavior.

However, if YOU say, looks don't matter I would still recommend to you - just for your own satisfaction - to try to look a little better.

If you say looks don't matter you make me think of a guy who looks really sloppy, greasy hair, dirty clothes and big belly.

At this point I'm more concerned about whether Whoopi is gay. I can vaguely remember she came out of the closet in the late nineties. The only thing I remember is she was in a long term relationship with that guy from Cheers before she came out of the closet.

I don't know what this infatuation with Whoopi Goldberg's sexuality is but I did a google search and it said she was bi.
