I think that's bull ship.

Then why so many who've been in the business for years commit suicide?

Many, both men and women, come out feeling not respected.

Probably the same range of reasons that so many in the general population commit suicide. Doctors, lawyers, and war veterans have particularly high suicide rates-- shall we vilify them, too?

Don't know your definition of porn. But If the girl has posed for playboy magazine, I think she should be okay. If A guy posed for playgirl magazine, then okay.

Most likely.

I highly doubt people in porn are good lovers anyway, so why bother, maybe good actors.
Just about everyone in the industry has HSV-2 or HSV-1 downstairs. The stigma of herpes doesn't really exist in the porn industry.

Also, women in porn are better lovers than the general population. As someone that's been with close to 100 women, I can tell you that maybe one in five women get it on like women in porn do. Half of a woman being good in the sack is simply her willingness to do things and her skill level. The other half is how attractive she is.

Just looked it up and could not find anything supporting that:
Doctors, Dentist, Security guards, Electricians were at the top, but no Adults Actors and Actresses.

A true story from the past about a girl that worked at the Legal Brothel in Nevada....saved her money went back to the Midwest...got married...couple of children later on and her husband brought home a visiting business client and low and behold she recognized the man as a former client at the brothel. He also recognized her and being a gentleman did not say anything.......YES, it does happen.

Kind of like the general public, you mean? 80% of women have it by age 50. The percentage is even higher among sexually active women, obviously.

Given how common HSV is, that stigma probably shouldn't really exist in the general population, either. It seems those in the porn industry are just more honest and realistic about it.

This is true! Porn is basically a highlight reel of sex. This has been said before, but it's like watching the Sportscenter highlights instead of going to a sporting event in person. Both are fun, but for different reasons.

I respect him. He's a true gentleman. I would have done the same.

There is no moral issue in enjoying non-XXX films but I have a hard time taking anyone seriously who believes that porn is degrading to women but continues to watch porn anyway. If you believe that porn HURTS and DESTROYS women physically and emotionally, then how can you even begin to justify masturbating to porn videos? It would be no different than watching child porn.
I hate to tell you, but people would watch if it weren't illegal so let's not take it there. But I agree with you that if someone thinks that porn is the bane of society, they shouldn't be watching it or supporting it in any way. However, I don't see how it's any different from men who wouldn't want their mother or sister working as an exotic dancer, yet they still enjoy going to strip clubs every now and then. If they don't know the actors personally, why would they be concerned about their well-being to the point where they couldn't enjoy watching adult films?
