If a nice guy makes one mistake, does he miraculously cease to be nice and becomes instead a monster? Are mistakes that powerful? We all make bad decisions sometimes, but that doesn't make us bad people. Mistakes simply reveal human frailty, as it did mine a few days ago.
But surely you agree that the guy who makes "one mistake" that offends dozens of people and then instead of apologizing, says "So what?" is not a nice person. He is, rather, an *******.
This is what I realized today. I was attending a function at a cousin's place - some people I knew, while others were strangers - totally ignored by the high maintenance, 'hot' girls. But two nice down-to-earth girls started chatting with me, in fact, they even volunteered to help me with some problem I am currently having (work-related).
So I guess it's all about body language, more so than verbal communication. If you're a nice person, somehow you're sort of sending a signal to other nice people to come and talk to you, socialize with you. Like attracts like. So some sort of non-verbal understanding/communication takes place.... that's why nice people are often approached by other nice people, as it happened to me today.

Pretty much. If there is one thing I have no respect for, it's people who commit egregious offenses and cannot bring themselves to apologize.
Not always true. Nice girls still have preferences, and they will also go for other types of guys. Still not formula for who attracts who, you just hope you can find someone you mesh with who likes you just as much.
People should do nice things without expecting things in return. If you expect anything you arent a nice person.
