I have a ton of housework to do, maybe get some things better organized. I also plan to run, hike, and hopefully interview for jobs. I welcome a break, but I'm nervous it will be longer than I want. I was hoping to already have something lined up, but at least I don't have to go to my old job anymore.
I made the mistake of telling my kids I liked chocolate. They would bring me goodies ALL the time...can't disappoint the little ones now, right? It was my duty to eat it! lol

That and teacher appreciation week, and holidays, and end of the year gifts...etc. All food related.

Next year I'm going to tell them I like carrots and cherries

When I'm home I only eat 2 meals...well...there's coffee, more coffee, brunch and a late lunch, and then some wine maybe. So much easier when I'm home!

I cleaned out closets and such...have a few more "must do's" and then I can do whatever the heck I want!
I hope you find something soon, but not too soon

Thanks!

I can easily get by with two meals at home. At work, I count down to my next feeding time. LOL
.
I'm going to try my hardest to make the best of a bad situation. I need to at least be useful, so maybe this is the time I'll actually get something accomplished!

I wonder how true to life the "pursuit" scene was as the plane was taking off and what would have happened had the plane been taken down?

I don't know, but, even knowing how it turned out, it was still portrayed quite tensely. That doesn't sound very grammatically correct, but...

They did a good job creating suspense with an otherwise boring documentary account of events.

Yeah, I was trying to look up about whether it was nominated, etc. I remember there being some hoopla surrounding it, like whether it should be nominated, Affleck should be nominated, etc.... I just remember thinking that it was something that you watched and didn't necessarily think, Oh! My, god! Oscar time! But, like you said, it was quiet and intense, and you felt like you knew how those people might have felt at the time. Having to sit tight and wait under circumstances like that seems unbearable to me. It takes a lot out of you.

Anyway... thanks for the reference.
