Is this flattering or coming off as creepy.

We talked briefly but no attraction building but I'd like to get to know her more or at least initiate more conversation. She also works in another office. Thoughts?

Nope. No way. Dumb.

Work contacts are added to Linkedin. Not Facebook.

Talking briefly does not warrant a Facebook friend request IMO. You would need to talk for awhile, be really comfortable with each other, before you go the social media route (unless it's LinkedIn of course which is meant for professional connections). Also, keep in mind that just because you add her on Facebook it doesn't necessarily mean it will initiate more conversation. What if she just ignores your messages?

Just talk to her in person. Grab lunch here and there. I assume you have her email?

I wouldn't consider it creepy unless I didn't like you.

^^^This.

I don't know why everyone is so eager to add people they hardly know to FB. To get to know someone, you need to talk to them, spend time with them, not hide behind a computer and "like" their comments and creep through their timeline photos.

Why don't you just talk to her while at work?

add and delete as you go along. Ultimately I will put forth a major fb purge. I am tired of seeing pictures of babies and grandmothers i could give 2 hoots about. One day most of them will be deleted. I only have 3 true friends I talk to on a regular basis.
