Flowers are only meant to be around a short time.
Fake flowers have their place in malls and tacky food joints

fake flowers belong on gravestones.

Yeah... last long and collects all sorts of dust.
And the last two points contradict each other. Cheap fakes look like cheap fakes. You have to spend good money to get ones that truly look real.

Please, do not steal from others!

Someone who gives fake flowers is not sensual enough for me.

Someone who steals from the yard down the street is not empathic and honest enough for me.

BTW, sometimes we think we are so over receiving flowers and then a friends sends some in the mail and you feel such love knowing someone cared enough to go the extra mile.

At one point receiving flowers had become so blasy to me, so yes, I was like don't waste the money, but I did smile today when I received the ones pictured.

They weren't in the best condition when received, but, it was the thought behind them that counts, I never expected it and my heart felt so full. Friends are the best, so can some SO if they choose not to give fake flowers that is. LOL

Real flowers for me. However, my daughter once received a bouquet of flowers and her boyfriend inserted one realistic beautiful fake flower into the bouquet. When the real ones died, she still had the fake one (and put it in a vase in her room). What a great idea .
