Guys in here who have no luck getting a girlfriend, and crave having a warm pretty body to be next to: why not just get the next best thing and offer a girl x number of dollars to cuddle with?
No sex. That would be illegal, but could you imagine yourselves just advertising in a college newspaper,
Quote:
"Lonely guy offering x$'s/hour just to hold and cuddle a bright pretty girl. Easy, clean way to make $$'s for your tuition."
I've always been an extreme pragmatist and it seems to me to be a very practical way to solve a very real problem of loneliness, no matter how off the wall it may sound at first. What's your opinion?
They opened one of these "cuddle for money" houses in the city I live in. They failed rather quickly.
This is a popular phenomena in Japan. They are primarily focused toward the elderly who have nobody, but regular lonely guys do it too, or so I'm told.
It's a symptom of the disease of Westernized culture: Increased electronic connectivity leading to increased loneliness and physical isolation.
You can pay someone to just "cuddle" with, they are generally referred to as a Prostitute and they are paid to do exactly what the customer wants them to do so actual sex does not have to be involved if you don't want it.
I'm a girl, but I see that as no different than paying for sex. As in, you're paying to receive pleasure for things that can be gotten for free. But rather than having to flirt, come up with lines, etc, you just give money and tell what you want.
I thought about that around a year or so ago, with paying for male company. But for now, I don't see myself doing it. But the idea crossed my mind.
It may seem desperate. But sadly, not everyone is blessed with being a heart throb, or charismatic person that attracts all kinds of grand attention. Just like some are probably not meant to find love, or never will. So, you do what you can.
