I'd rather be honestly dumped than fed a line of b***s*** (women, love)

"I just don't have time for a relationship right now."
What do these three phrases all have in common? 99% of the time, they are lies, lies, lies.
People usually tell these lies when they are breaking up with us. We are supposed to believe they are telling these lies for our benefit, to spare our feelings.
I say, b***s***.
I think people who tell these lies are only interested in sparing themselves. They tell these lies in hopes that they can avoid having to deal with our hurt feelings. The truth is , they were done with us long before they actually broke up with us. They really don't care about our feelings anymore. They just want out.
Personally, I would rather be dumped honestly than fed lies. How about saying, "I'm just interested anymore," or, "I've met someone else." I'd have a lot more respect for someone who broke up with me that way than by telling lies.

Agree? Hell naw!
Being dumped is already hard enough. I'd rather have a white lie told to me. I know they are lying but at least I know they give somewhat of a about me to try and soften the blow of losing them.
To be 100% honest, it's all the same to me. I prefer someone being direct instead of just not saying anything and acting weird until I do it.. but I don't really care how they do it. Whether they are mean about it or tell a white lie, it all registers the same in my mind "oh well".
Well, it's not particular the best day for me to reply to threads like this after the last few days. I had a incident at work today that left me a bit "disturbed" and bitter. Also my cousin needed some of my help fixing some stuff around his house. It's been rainy and cold the last few days, so I left it I would call him back when the weather breaks. My Mom takes it under her own liberty that I don't want to do it and calls my cousin (her nephew) back and tells him that he will have to get somebody else. Like I was too coward to speak up or something. Couldn't wait until brighter, warmer days....like Monday for crying out loud.
I'm so flipping mad right now with "women" in general at the current time....I'll just keep quite so nothing gets said that shouldn't.

Anyone agree?
I agree. Lying doesnt mean you can about me. It means you dont wanna feel guilty for breaking up with me.

Honest truth or lying, either way, the outcome is the same; that person doesn't want to be with you.
