But my question goes to the larger situation of guys who find themselves in this situation--why would a girl hate a guy afterwards for him taking advantage of her emotional vulnerability when she wanted to do it?

Because most people, male or female, don't like being rejected. Which is what you did. She likely felt embarrassed by your rejection after making her desires plain and, since you turned her down, she now dislikes you.
I didn't get the correction in quickly enough: the question should have been "why would a girl hate a guy afterwards for him NOT taking advantage of her emotional vulnerability when she wanted to do it?" Sorry.

I guess the verdict is I over-thought the situation.

Depends on the woman, but I'll usually strike when the iron is hot.

here you are years later wondering about it...

a byproduct of being a talented male musician is getting *it* thrown at you

we're not even talking pop-rock-rap music either where its usually alot of 'suspect' women groupies trying to make some kind of comeup

I would think in your genre the women might be better quality and less used used

no,,,you are suppose to "know" that if a woman says "no" it means "no" and if a woman says "yes" it still means "no"

(like sexual algaebra - two negatives equal a positive and a positive and negative equals rape)

just remember you are a man,,and its all your fault,,, you, are the lowest common denominator in any female equation

That's what the preliminaries were for.
+1 I think years of feminization has emasculated the young men in this country.

Hey everybody, I won the powerball. Should I cash it in, or throw it away since I really didn't earn the money?
