This was truly an act of love on her part to create the recipes and prepare them for her man's enjoyment! So sweet!
She definitely did a great job.

I'll be the grinch in this thread - I thought the premise was just stupid and a desperate play for attention. YOu wanna marry someone? Go ahead and marry them if they wanna marry you. You wanna do a sandwich blog? Do a sandwich blog. But the "300 sandwiches and he'll marry me" ploy was just... dumb. You do nice things for the people you love because you love them and because doing nice things for the people you love is a pleasurable thing in and of itself, not because you're cadging for a proposal or some other reward.

Yeah, I know it was all in good fun and wasn't to be taken seriously, but I can't help but feel like it was just too flippant, too poorly thought out, too trivializing. And then there's that other part of me that's just thinking "does there always have to be a gimmick?"

Would you have felt better if he dumped her after sandwich 256 for a younger prettier girl who can't even find the kitchen? I think that would seem less gimmicky.

Nope. I just thought it was dumb, like I said. Why would I wish bad things on someone I don't know?

Nope I would never do that. I told my husband what I want and I left up to him to decide. No 300 sandwiches to make but I will never be a mom. I don't know which is worst.

It takes more than two slices of bread with meat in the middle for me.

The sandwich better come with chips and a refreshing beverage.
