I met this guy briefly (10 minutes) at a gathering. We became facebook friends. We exchanged numbers and he's been texting me ever since. We were supposed to hang out last Friday, but I had a family emergency so I had to reschedule. We are hanging out next Monday. It's been only 2 weeks. He texts me EVERYDAY. The texts include random topics, how my day is going, sending me music through youtube, and ends with wishing me a good night. I work at night 7pm to 7am, and he would text me at night asking how work is going, saying have a good night at work etc.
He also likes a lot of my things on Facebook. He never said anything about being interested in me, but is he??He said at one time how he hopes I'm not disappointed in him. How hanging out with him will include going to a lot of restaurants and trying different foods.

There is no way for us to know if he is like this other girls, but there is always that possibility.
Yes it is possible to like someone without going on a date, that is what is called a crush. From what you mentioned it does seem like he's interested. Just hang out with him, and just let everything happen naturally.

He is interested in you. If he wasn't, he wouldn't text you that much. You don't text People that are not interesting to you? Don't you?
I'd say it's probable that he likes you that way, but really, there are only two ways to find out for sure:
1. Ask him.
2. Wait and see.
