Coworker and me - We critized each others profiles and he told me I sound like a full blown lesbian and I look like trouble on my pics. I changed it around and then it sounded more like a feminine woman and surprise, surprise, I got more hits.
He took off his selfies according to my advice and since then gets more LIKES also.
I have set up my exes online profile because it was too plain at first and he was sad to not get any messages. I helped him to create a better description. We are friends (split 9 years ago), so why not?
I was asking married women.

When I am with my friends girlfriends, I say lots of stupid things without thinking because I don't care what they think as they are already taken.
That is completely logical
I never said it was wrong, I was just asking a question.
I'm single... and have helped several male friends with online dating profiles.
Sometimes we need someone else's opinion.
Example: a co-worker had a photo of him sitting in a recliner... He was a very active guy... but the photo made him look like a slug.
Also, a major revision is good... gets fresh hits from people who had passed before.
So ask someone who knows you... because you want the real you in the profile....
The only concern with a married woman helping a friend with a dating profile, is if her husband doesn't know, and finds it by accident.... then HE thinks she's cheating, looking, etc. Of course, if she lets the husband/boyfriend know... no problem (well, maybe...)
