Here is a interesting idea maybe the OP is becoming jealous of the closer relationship between the husband and their kids, due to them bonding over MLP, and she is starting to resent that.
What the effff??? No grown man should be watching my little pony or going to brony conventions. Unless he spends the rest of his time as a firefighter or in the special forces to balance it out, you are right to be concerned and I'm dead serious.

I like cartoons every once in a while, but that's going too far.
How far is Baltimore from where you live? Lol
Kinda reminds you of the wahines in hawaii who also went pupule for kikaida. Rememba many hrs on school buses hearing keiki( kane and wahine) sing.

This really puts my 58-year-old husband's enjoyment of Big Hero 6 and Disney classic movies into perspective. Thanks!
P.S. He also likes so-called chick flicks like Notting Hill and Somewhere in Time, and I also like so-called macho movies like Highlander and Under Siege -- so choosing a movie is never an issue for us. We each like almost every genre, as long as it is good and entertaining. Classifying movies as "feminine" or "masculine" is just silly, imo.
I am guessing you have some really screwed up ideas about what makes a real man.
Can't be a real man 'cause he doesn't smoke the same cigarettes as me...
^Yeah, the person you responded to and the OP (among others) seem pretty close minded. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when people get to the point that they KNOW that the are not only right, but they feel the have a monopoly on defining what right is, then it's a whole nother thing.
I'm a guy, and I personally could not care less what someone wears, but I guess I could see where someone who is trapped with letting society do their thinking for them would be in a real pinch with this situation.
FWIW, it takes a REAL MAN to wear that out in public. It's like wearing a pink button down, khaki's and penny loafers to a punk rock show (which I've also seen on more than one occasion).
Pinkie Pie sounds like Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls.
You know, if positions were reversed and someone said a woman isnt a real woman because she watches Ice Road Truckers, everyone would be pissed. Who cares what he watches? Let the man be.
