Try before you buy is not just for the consumer of goods. Knowing tacoman has a propensity for heavy drinking I'd be wanting to know that old thing still works before I got married.

I just couldn't imagine it. How utterly depressing would that be, you've spent all that money on a nice wedding only to get a divorce a month later. Or worse, you decide to just live a sex starved existence. What a nightmare.

The number of people that had lousy sex lives for decades or even their entire lives because they waited and when it happened they didn't know it should be any better must be truly staggering. It's so sad.
Or find out that he really, really NEEDS if for you to dress up as an anime, or 6 in stilettos on his windpipe, or wants to wear diapers....... prefers men....
Sex is such a HUGE part of regular healthy marriages I can't just imagine two deciding to leave that part unknown. You can TALK about it, but that ain't the same. It's also one of the ways to bond.
