Why is "what men want" all centered around how a woman looks? There was nothing about personality in there.
Yeah good point. Personality is very important. Definitely more important than looks. A women could be a perfect 10 but if I don't like her personality, I will not find her even remotely attractive.
I disagree. A lot of the "supermodel" looks are targeted towards a WOMAN audience, not a male audience. Clothes look better on skinny people, so those who deal in fashion put the clothes on skinny women, trying to sell the clothes to women not men.
If you want to see a look catered to a male audience, look towards rap videos, video games, porn... most (not all) of the woman have HIPS (god, I drool even typing the word) and big breasts. Males are genetically programmed to desire childbearing attributes (big hips, large breasts) a skinny waist accentuates that... and plastic surgery brings it to an extreme.
Every man is different but I can honestly say that fake boobs look disgusting to me, and I am attracted to women that are considered slightly (10-30 lbs) overweight in medical terms. As long as their hips (drool...) are bigger than their waist, they'll at least catch my eye. That's just me
Yes you are right the supermodel/skinny girl look is for fashion reasons it has nothing to do with what men want. The models are showing off clothing that companies want women to buy and the clothing is geared toward slender women.

Fully 80 percent of men ages 18 to 50 say they want a voluptuous woman...
Men overwhelmingly said they are most attracted to women who have curves, rather than skinny women...
and prefer brunettes with "long, wavy hair."
And 78 percent said a woman's most attractive feature is her smile.
Hogwash!!!!! Most women are trying to diet themselves as skinny as the Hollywood stars that men are drooling over. Men want plastic surgery, big fake breasts, very thin hips, no butt, and stick arms...oh yes, and a woman with such a thin face, she has lines when she smiles. Look at the Hollywood crowd and you will see what I mean. Bobble heads. Now, if men didn't want this, women wouldn't be doing this. I have heard of women trying to diet down to a size 2 or 4, because they think a size 6 or 8 is too big!
For women who must find and marry a wealthy guy, you are probably right, much of the time. For everyone else, I think that you are greatly overstating this.

I want a woman who is happy with herself and not trying to look exactly like a celebrity. It's completely OK for her to say "I could lose 20 pounds" or "I am too skinny" but I don't want her to end either of those sentences with "because I want to look like this celebrity" because I don't care for many celebrities.
I want her happy and I want her as herself. I'm not worried about a celebrity look alike.

That certainly doesn't apply to me and never has.
In my experience, however, women are far more likely to be attracted to looks than they will admit.
Most guys are aware that they have no ability to attract these women and modify their search appropriately. In contrast, a large proportion of younger women, can often attract these guys. They just can't get them to commit and seldom seem to learn from this experience.
Oh yeah, and don't forget the blondes...they want blondes, not brunettes.
Blond with big boobs is a low class affectation. Both are strong indicators of a woman who is faking it. 90% of women over 21 who are "blond", dye their hair.
i agree women are practical, they like a little excitement but push comes to shove she wants assets and with no fault u gota whole lota shoving, 67% divorce, 70% filed by women. 42 million since 1975.
but i am saddened by the post, both men and women lie as to what they want and like.
women do not love clowns, if it were so, there would be a line outside my door.
men do not swoon for her smile and hair, their line of sight never gets higher than her neckline.
the people that said these things were lying like a rug.
