Our oldest is going to be a senior this year and the rest our kids are approaching adulthood as well. With the empty nest apporaching us what should we expect?

At first it will be weird because it is so quiet. but you get used to it. Here are a few of the good things, more money ( provided your kids are self sufficient ) Way less house cleaning , less laundry, don't have to plan sex around when the kids are in bed or gone, more quality time with your SO , no more running crazy with sports etc.

I'm not there yet, but this. Or, if you're in an unhappy marriage, you start working more in order to avoid each other.

Sex without trying to be quiet. Walking around naked if you want. Locking the front door and getting it on in the kitchen.

I was originally going to write "vacuuming in the nude" myself, but maybe that's TMI?

No shame! That sounds about right! Everything gets done naked. Well, not cooking bacon and the like......
