i just wanted to add that there have been times when i have actually heard a poster's voice (it's not my voice at all) in my head whilst reading their specific post. it's the strangest thing! has this happened to anyone else? (or am i in need of an exorcism?)

No, it's not that strange...just a little. When I email with my friends, I tend to hear their voices but not strangers as much.

oh yes, how true, how true...communicating with the written word is very hard...I write poetry, and....you'd be suprised how people translate it, and it....sheesh

yes, this for me has been a wonderful and giving experience...
