So you make up things to sound more exciting?

Are you still living a boring life, because that needs to change before dating women. We only get one crack at life, why aren't you making the most of it? Life doesn't have to be super-exciting, but you should have some sort of interest or hobby, something you love to do.

Then you're not ready to date, and certainly not ready for a relationship, which requires emotional intimacy. Work on yourself and your issues first, then date.

Can you give an example of the type of question you would be unwilling to answer truthfully?

Nope. Be honest and own up.

If its one thing I will never do, its lying about myself in front of someone I appreciate.

Even the most boring life have some type of interesting story. I refuse to believe someone's life is soooooooo boring that they have to lie about EVERYTHING.

If you can't have an honest relationship with yourself you can't have an honest relationship with others.

If you can't feel you can be you, why be with that person? Weed people out.

Live life authentically, and you'll find true friends.

Btw- the truth eventually comes out later on. Actions speak louder than words.

It's not lying when you "slightly exaggerate" facts.

-Past relationships
-Hobbies
-Where I live (I live at home)
-Places I've been to (I never really traveled)

Basically things like that

I think you don't have what it takes to pull off these lies anyway based on your life experiences or lack thereof so in your case, you probably shouldn't do it.
