Anyone else a fan of a Major League Baseball team getting "Meet Single X fans near you" emails as part of their partnership with Match.com? I keep getting them from the Braves.
I have no interest in going back to Match so if I'm going to meet my fellow Braves fans in the Portland Metro area, it's going to have to be a little more organically-like at the upcoming games against Seattle, perhaps.
thats just a way for match to increase their traffic, and for the braves, or any other team doing the same thing, to increase attendance. dont be surprised if another dating site hooks up with another sport in the near future.

I'm a fan of the MLB. I'm a San Francisco Giants fan. However, I don't use match.com or any dating site.
Yes, I realize this is just another ploy for Match to get subscribers. The emails aren't coming from Match trying to lure me back, however, they are coming from braves.com.
I do find it interesting, though, that Match boasts being the #1 OLD site yet they are now partnering with MLB to get subscribers in addition to offering Groupon deals for membership subscriptions seemingly every few months.
Oh, come on! They have not been the #1 site for at least 10 years! What liars.
