Just out of curiosity, what would you say is the best quality of your mate??

For me, my husband is my best friend and we never get tired of being around each other, even after 5 years. But to put a real quality to it, he is gentle. I call him a big teddy bear because he appears to others as tough (some might say scary since he always looks mad!) but is very sweet.

ETA: Meant for the title to say "is" rather than "are"

He makes me laugh. Even when I'm mad at him.

I can relate. Sometimes I want to be so mad and he does something silly. Haha.

Well no mate yet. But the guy I like is perfect. lol Best quality is his manliness, and not someone to be messed with, but he's very soft and chivalrous when it comes to women.

Even taking out the rugged manly part, his treatment of women is his best feature. He's polyamorous, so he has a a good number of women, and quite the looker, but not a player or user.

Always liked a guy with the rugged manliness, but the soft and/or passionate side.

He is human
He is male
He is breathing
He showed up at the alter
He said "I do"
He accepts and loves the good, bad and ugly of me
and keeps coming home.

VanillaChocolate, my husband is very rugged (biker looking type) but very passionate and sweet. I love it. He is not the type I would have gone for but grateful I did!

CSD610...I had to laugh at that one! The good, bad and ugly and keeps coming home...yes! I agree. Mine deserves an award for putting up with my stubborn self.

Her best quality is that she will stand by me, no matter what. Even when we were just friends, a short three years ago, she stuck by me like no male friend ever has. Back before we fell in love, the ex was being vicious, trying to bust up our friendship, because she was trying to separate me from any support. It worked with EVERYONE, even my best male friend of 27 years. A guy who's back I bad and he had mine in life or death situations where bullets were flying.

But not my now love. She planted her flag right next to mine, a d stayed there. Through what most women would have walked away from, not unjustifiably. This is beyond loyalty. The character she has shown by sticking by me is the stuff that wins the Medal Of Honor. And I'm not exaggerating. I would die for her that she go on living. This world is a far better place with her in it.

He's incredibly kind and caring. Much more nurturing than I am!
