You know what else? Is this new girl the one you made a thread about asking for date ideas? Because now I'm kinda pissed at you too since I apparently helped you cheat on your GF.

Didn't you say you kissed a bit in the other thread? If so, then yes. Would your girlfriend be happy if you were holding hands with another woman? And kissing another woman? That's physical, and intimate contact if you have romantic feelings for the person.
I think, if you have to hide relations with another person, you're cheating. If it's innocent and platonic, there's nothing to hide, and no reason a SO can't meet the person.
Have you done things physically with this girl that you wouldn't do with her in your girlfriend's prescience? I say yes, since you're holding her hands and kissing her.
So, even if you haven't had full blown sex, you already have gotten physical in some way with her, and it wasn't platonic since you 2, apparently, have already started dating.
Sex is one way to cheat, but not the only one. So, you were with your girlfriend. You didn't love her, and started up a relationship with another woman, and you've held hands, and kissed. So you have cheated in every way, even without the sex thus far. Emotionally, and physically.
And as for the new girl, if she's gonna sneak around with someone's boyfriend, she needs to be prepared for consequences. Chances are your girlfriend will be civil though. So, she may not do anything to her. Though I wouldn't fault her if she did lol

I told her it was a bad idea, but she said that because I was talking to this girl behind her back for a month, she has a right to meet her. Technically, I cheated on my girlfriend, if not sexually, then emotionally.
yeah, shes making excuses to try to harm your next relationship. tell her its a bad idea, and that she does not have any right to meet this new girl.
now understand this, your old girl is likely to become a stalker because of this, so be on the look out for this happening.
