Women profiles are hilarious on dating sites too at least POF the only one I ever used. Women headlines like "looking for a nice guy" then their main profile picture is of them with the camera pointed right down at their cleavage... then you read more and it says "not here for a hookup so keep it moving" lol
Or the obese women that say "no fatties" LOLLLLL I'm not fat and I'm not looking for fat women they just contact me sometimes on there.
They want to indulge in "travel," and "fine dining," but they don't make any mention of who's expected to PAY for it, which usually means they expect the man to foot the entire bill.
How would you know if they don't already enjoy travel and fine dining? Women do that stuff alone or with gf's. No need to mention who pays for it, it's obvious. I've traveled with a gf before, i was never expected to pay for it. That's just weird.

According to some of the women on this forum who've done OLD, men do the same thing. Or did you seriously believe that was a gender-specific behavior? C'mon, you're smarter than that, right?
While it was indeed long according to most people's standards, I received a lot of positive feedback on it, and it certainly didn't hurt me in the way of "success." Typically, the people I interacted with or dated also had lengthy profiles or simply appreciated well-written and entertaining profiles. I had some message me knowing, stating, we weren't a match but still enjoyed what they read.

Exactly. When I did online the amount of obese men who stated "no fatties" or contacted me to complain about fat women (but were fat)astounded me.
Four paragraphs (195 words) isn't even that long... most of my posts here are longer than that! I think Hawaiiancoconut is just joking a bit with us saying it's "too long." 195 words isn’t all that lengthy and only takes a minute or so to read.
I am curious to hear his results with spamming "hi" messages though along with his short profile. Who knows, maybe that works for some. Not me though and I am fine with turning off the non-reading types. They probably wouldn’t be a good match anyway.
Hey, for what it’s worth. If you include my quote of you here, this post is about 195 words and four paragraphs. It’s actually exactly 199 words long. Like I said, what I write on my profile is not really a novel and should be quick for just about anyone to read. It just gives the basics about me and my hobbies… conversation starters (if the other person reads it).
Just started an account late last night on POF.
It seems almost every women is looking for a "partner in crime" Lol
