The rhetoric gay activists uses can easily be spun for polygamy. For example, love knows no number. I also feel like they have the legal argument. I can't say i'm really opposed to it. Do you guys think that polygamy will be legalized and do you support it?

No I don't think it will become legalized because there are too many legal complexities. I could care less if folks want to have multiple spouses as long as they can financially support one another and their offspring. I'm not sure why anyone would want to legally wed more than one when it is perfectly legal to live with multiple partners.

I've got to ask: what is a "bromosexual"? Is it just a certain subset of gay guys in white hats and Ed Hardy shirts?

Great point.

It is important to note that proponents of gay marriage claim they want the same rights as opposite sex couples and do not want to be discriminated against, under the law.

Those same people that support gay marriage discriminate against and want to deny rights to unions of more than two people.

So their argument that they should have the same rights as same self couples while not fighting for the rights of unions involving more than two people means that they only care about themselves and are unwilling to also fight for the rights of people that want to be in unions involving more than two people.

So how would a society extend those marriage rights (inheritance, SS benefits, insurance benefits, child custody, visitation rights, medical decisions, and the other over 1,000 government marital benefits) between two people to three, four, five, six people.

No, but polyamory is. I know lawyers who are working on it, long term.

What's with people on this forum thinking polygamy = polyamory? Such ignorance.

14 amendment would say yes. You can;t discriminate legally based on numbers.

What is there to work on re: polyamory. It can never be illegal....are you talking about extending various legal benefits to non-marital partners?
