I was listening to a song today about a couple that reunited after having fallen in love years ago, but circumstances took them apart from each other. They reunited and it was as if it all came back just like it was before they had to part ways and they ended up being together forever after that. I have heard of cases of this happening, and know of one personally at my job. Do you have any stories to tell of reunited love after years of being apart where they ended up together?
I'm still in contact w my first crush, we were 10yr old, we are 45yr old now. He chased me, I ran. I love how our lives have turned out, but to this day I love him very much. The intensity between us is still as strong & as scary as it was when we were kids. We say that much about us are "soul mates" & that it's a good thing we live states away from each other.
He is an amazing man, while I believe our lives are where they should be, so much of me still wishes I was with him. Keep in mind, there is no way we would sacrifice our current lives or hurt our spouses. My hubby knows about him, always has. His wife knows nothing about me. Very different relationships, while he says he is happy his is very limiting in ways. Mine is very secure & we talk about everything.
My friend & I just keep saying our turn will come when we are old & widowed so we can be each other's last loves.
Meh. Thank you for sharing your story but I really wanted to hear about people who actually ended up together, and not so much from married people who talk to their old flame but wish they were with them instead. I know I would have TONS of posts from them (*sigh* ) but this thread is about people who reunited and actually got together. Not looking to hear from people who are in an affair.
In my perfect world scenario I can think of one man I would LOVE to be reunited with, and I could make up a really good story about how it would go...but, it hasn't happened, so, I guess that leaves me out.
