But wouldn't you agree that sex "for free", its generally easier for a woman to find sex than it is a man?
I've never paid for an escort, it's just not something I would do.

Ask any escort. The majority of their clients are married men. Why? Men get tired of having sex with the same woman over and over regardless of how good their sex life is. It's like having your favorite meal for dinner then eating it every single day! They pay for sex in order to experience something new and take a break from the norm. It's exciting. Not to mention escorts dont become obsessive and clingy like side women.
I'm sure that is the case for some. I met a woman a while back who was a victim of relationship violence. She became an escort. It was really interesting to hear her stories. She said the number one reason men came to see her was because their wives stopped having sex with them.

Addiction. Humans are very addictive creatures. Once you have been in a relationship and experienced all the joys that come with it, it can be tough to break the cycle.
I've got a pretty good marriage and a wife who enjoys sex so it's all good.
But....for the sake of this thread if I suddenly found myself single I don't think I'd want to be in a relationship for a while.
Much simpler to pay for play.
I spend a lot of the time outside the US and have friends that would have no trouble hooking me up with a stunning woman. Top of the line say $200 for the night.
Money talks, the man pays for what he wants and gets what he wants, no beating around the bush, no build up, no trying to get to know her and all that, for some men that is worth the payment.

I would have to think that no matter how physically good looking the person is that it would be a total turnoff to know that they are just doing it for the money. Total shrinky d*nk affect.
I think men pay for sex the same way women pay for online dating. They get tired of beating around the bush, and hope that by paying for what they want and being direct and honest they can get to the point quicker. Sex or marriage or whatever they desire. But sometimes you get what you pay for!
