I agree with the OP...I am 23 and I have a friend who's 19 who liked me when he was a high school freshman and I was a senior. Back then, the 4-year age gap was huge. Now it's less so, but I still feel creeped out when I think about hooking up with him ever. I think the youngest I'd go at this point is 20. At least we'd be in the same age decade...and they would remember old cartoons from the '90s on Nickelodeon!!

A few years ago I dated a 21year old and I was 28/29. She was a lot more mature and accomplished than women I've dated that were older than her. Would I do it again? Why not? If we connect then why burn it? Although admittedly, had she been younger (18-20) I would have passed as losing the option of going out for drinks etc is too much of a give away.

It's not just a maturity thing when comes to age.

Most of it (age differences) doesn't even matter until you are out of your 20's anyways...that's when things actually start take on a little more weight with bio clocks ticking down and life begins to settle a little.

It's easy to have come and go relationships, age really doesn't matter much to them. All that matters is you "like" one another
