All of ours are well into the geriatric stage of life where anything can go. The two females are pretty healthy while the male doesn't walk well and has real difficulty getting up. He had several fatty tumors removed and he looks like the loser of a knife fight. The only safe place to scratch him is on the head.
Because he is a blockhead he has to wear the cone of shame, one of those hard plastic cones from the vet, and he reminds of it whenever he walks around.
We decided after our current critters are no longer sharing our home there will be no more, we are getting older and my health isn't the best and I'm really not even supposed to have cats in the house or their litter.
It will be quiet but has to be that way.
LOL!! I'm quite sure that depends on the various recipients.

WF, give him a scritch on the safe part of his head from the home of the CSD's for his quick healing and loss of the cone of shame.

He is supposed to have his stitches out later this week, but he is going in tomorrow as two masses have reformed. Poor mutt might be wearing that cone another two weeks.
