Use UltraLight aircraft.....less traffic at 500-2000'.....

That is on my list of things I want to do.

I am thinking light sport and private aircraft.

They go all over the mountains here, at times.....cruising thru the canyons...

Yup. And it would be dandy for getting from point a to point b in short order.

Hauling ass is my second favorite thing to do.

Talking about room temps, 65 F on winter nights and 77 F on summer afternoons are perfect .
