When you break up with a girl and she says (among other things) that, "You have no idea what i'm capable of" should I be worried or is this just over the top break-up hyperbole?

Sounds like someone really angry and hurt who isn't handling the lack of control she feels very well.

And we've only been going out for less than 2 months. I was kind of shocked because there weren't really any signs. She was completely normal. It just didn't feel right to me and I didn't want to get 6 months in and then dig a deeper hole. But, wow , she went mental, calling me a liar, saying that all men lie and she thought i was different etc.

Nothing to worry with unless she actually starts toward you with a running chain saw.
Humans say things when they are upset and it sounds like she really did not handle the break up well.
Unless she calls the cops and claims you raped her or beat her up. I've seen instances where a woman bangs her head on the wall, scratches herself up with keys and other assorted self induced injuries. Next thing you know...you are sitting in jail and trying to defend yourself. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!
