it was a accident and I didn't recognize her at all as I was browsing ads and when I clicked on her profile I noticed one of her FB pics and was like OOPS!!. I don't know how she will react to this and hope she is too embarrassed because friends don't normally discuss that they are on dating sites.

Plus it maybe kind of arkward because it states in her FB profile she has a man. Something else that confirms that you should never believe anything you see on FB

I got caught once by my guy friends. I was very embarrassed. One of them emailed me said "is it you Lily, hehe" one of them said "I am available. So when are you hanging out?"

We are nothing but friends, and we have all told one and another that we would never try OLD. So awkward for all three of us.

Both of them have told me "You know I aint loser, you know that right? you know my situation." I told them "well.. I am not really looking..." So awkward.

Seem like posting here. One funny poster just responded to one of my thread. He said that I don't want to be a loser so i keep quiet. When people mention city data in real life. I pretend I don't post here and I don't know what they are talking about.

All jokes aside, there is still stigma associated with online dating. I got over it a long time ago. and I have no problems telling people all my past experiences and if I have to do it again, I would have no problems doing it. If my guy fiends catch me again, so be it. =)

I once discovered the OkCupid profile of a friend of mine at college. I sent her a message, and never got a reply. Still don't know if she knew it was me or not.

It wouldn't matter to me. I have nothing to hide from male Facebook friends. I only have an interest in one of them and we met on a dating site so it's not like he'd be shocked to see me on one.

It's not as bad as seeing your sister come out on stage at a strip club.

Just made that up.

No, that never happened...I don't go to those places... Where she works...

I kid.

I used to be on craigslist and was always worried about a friend, family member, coworker seeing my ad online. Now granted that is a little different as craigslist is more for sex than just dating. I guess I would feel a little awkward if someone I knew saw my profile on okcupid but watever
