FWIW, don't look at the face. Look at the clothing, interior decor, model year of car and condition it's in, what people around them are wearing, etc. There were a few guys on OLD where it was so obvious their photos were taken in the late 1990s, it was ridiculous.
I don't think men would be good at judging some of that, and my guess is neither sex does much thinking like that re pictures. There also might be timestamps on photos, but most people do not know that and personally I think it would be invasive. Basically, we're back to gut reaction to face vs. listed age.

Every time I thought "wow, this guy looks very young for his age" and actually met him, he didn't look like his pics AT ALL. He was either gone fat or bald since they were taken.

But if you include a date - yeah, of course it is not a red flag.

I wish I looked older. Guess it'll work out better for me when I am actually old though.

This has been marinating in my head for a day:
Men are more likely to use significantly old pictures, whereas women are much more likely to use photoshopped or other misleading recent pictures, meaning that it's women (or gays, I suppose) who more need to watch out for men who look suspiciously young. Correct?

Many look young for their age.

That's why everyone gets carded now a days.

though I do find it funny and unbelievable when I come across a woman's profile where she looks 60 but claims she is 40.
Why do you not use your real age?

I posted a picture with my daughter. She is my height and 10 years old. That gives men proof that I am the age I state.

I am not convinced they even look at the age, considering how many 20-28 years olds I am currently messaging.
