In my humblest opinion, I find most people who claim to have extremely high standards use that excuse for being unsuccessful with dating. Either, they're too shy, not confident, introverted, etc whatever the issue. It's just an excuse. Jmo
I've had minimal success with women, I have struck out a lot though.

This is the $20,000 question. According to earlier posts, the OP has only ever asked out around a dozen women in his life. We can only guess that the bitterness isn't related to that, it must be coming from somewhere else? Mom issues? Who knows?

Really? How dare you? Smh. My relationship with my mother has always been great.
But didn't you recently say in this thread or another that your mother is 38? And you're what? 24? Even if your relationship is good, it's going to be affected by her being such a young teen when she had you and that you didn't have a model of a healthy relationship growing up.
