We have a complete opposite view of what makes for a satisfying sexual relationship. I feel your pretend speech would be a highly attractive thing for someone to say.
Well, we all have our preferences, I suppose. For your sake, I hope you find someone who does that. For my sake, I'm thankful I never have.
There have been a lot of threads about virgins recently and it's interesting how many people often suggest escorts. Yet I've wondered if these same women would still respect somebody if they found out he lost his virginity to a hooker. Or indeed if any woman would.
So I figured I'd ask. Say you knew a guy who lost his virginity to a escort, would you still date him?
Counterpoll: Men, would you tell a potential date that you've been with an escort?
[x] No
[ ] Yes, I'm stupid.
It seems to be a common theme with these polls lately. Women, would you date a guy who (something bad). Why men feel the need to advertise their flaws, weaknesses, or any other detrimental quality is beyond me. With the exception of something like an STD, there's no need to be up front about these things.
Marriage is a different story, of course, but we're talking about DATING here.
If I slept with normal people and didn't need to pay a professional I would hope he was the same way.
That's kind of a closed-minded response. There are men out there who, believe it or not, have a harder time getting laid than women do. Just as there are many things that most men have trouble understanding about women, this is one of the ones that many women have trouble understanding about men.

I agree, and I think this is especially true at my age. I've never once questioned a woman about her past, and I don't expect her to divulge that information. That's her business and all I care is that she has a clean bill of health. I've never used an escort, but if I did I wouldn't feel the need to share that. I've also never divulged how many I have been with, again this really isn't important.
Counterpoll: Men, would you tell a potential date that you've been with an escort if you are sober?

You should change your counterpoll to the bolded above Most of the men are smart enough about these things when sober, but some men start blabbing about all kinds of things when they get too many drinks in them. It's how I found out that my ex cheated on me when we were engaged (I found out after we were married... but basically he got himself so drunk one night he just confessed it all in front of me and a couple of friends). The last man I dated told me all kinds of trade industry secrets no one outside a select group was supposed to know (at that point) and later begged me not to repeat them (and he wasn't even drunk, just tipsy). Put a few drinks in someone and it seems like most will tell you anything!

I think if people have problems with their behavior while drinking (whether it's divulging "too much" information, or any other kind of negative behavior) then there will be more problems than just having visited an escort
