Sitting in a chair watching a movie and he makes a nasal sound of some kind,
having to breathe thru his mouth...I knew right then, OMG, I could never be attracted to this guy.
Tho, he is wonderful as a friend now. He got over his crush, he had to.

Cowardice- either with oneself and/or with others (usually the case). Cowardice usually implies that a person isn't secure enough within themselves to step up and face the truth.

I desire people who are honest with themselves and look at reality for what it is, and be brave, courageous and strong even in the face of adversity to do what's best for others and themselves. They could even be a visionary in their own small ways. But, they're always willing to be genuine with who they are.

Courage and humbleness also seem to go hand-in-hand with wisdom.

Integrity is what counts!

25 yr old male here: for girls I'm interested in the biggest turn offs (in no order)

  1. Smoking - can't stand the smell
  2. Obesity - I'm athletic and outgoing
  3. Extremely Religious - Everyone believes what they want. I just don't want to be apart of a relationship with someone who posts every day how "awesome" God is. I'll happily support your religious beliefs and will take part once in awhile for the sake of the relationship, but I don't need to or want to be converted.
  4. Unathletic - similar to #2. You don't have to me a marathon runner, but dear lord, you should be able to go hiking for a few hours or bike 10 miles around the lake in the summer.
  5. Party goers - I'm OK clubbing once in awhile. But if it's your every Friday/Saturday... no thanks
  6. Alcoholic wannabe's -- see above
  7. Game players - You either like me or you don't. I've been played twice now and I have had enough of it. Grow up.
  8. Closed Minded - Be willing to try new things. New foods. New experiences. Get outside of your bubble. I've learned so much about myself and the world.
  9. Can't function without mommy/daddy - I'm super close with my parents. Hell, I was sick last week and my mom came over, made me dinner and then drove me to the doctor. But at the same time, I plan my own vacations, live on my own, do my own shopping, etc. I had a friend who literally would ask her parents if she could road trip with us to Wisconsin. She's 24 and lived on her own for 2 years.... Make your own damn decisions
  10. Unmotivated - Have an ex who is a teacher at a low income school. Although there's good times, she complains a ton about the students, pay, etc. I offered to help her with her resume so she could apply to new schools and to reach out to my former teachers to see if they knew of anything open. Yet, when push came to shove, she was like "well, maybe next year will be better." If you're not happy, change it.
  11. Big boobs - anything bigger than a C cup freaks me out.
