I recently ended a LTR and haven't been in the dating pool since my 20's.
I don't go to bars or clubs anymore, nor am I into social media like facebook.
How do you meet people? I'm not sure if I want to try online dating.
How are your experiences?
OLD has made dating easier than ever. It's a ton of fun. The person I'm seeing now I met IRL (a bar), as was the person I met before that (bus stop), but other than that most of my relationships the last 10 years have been from OLD.
I'm not sure you're age, I'm 43, and dating is more enjoyable than ever.

Not sure how. The only difference I can see is that as a guy I don't have pressure put on me to put out right away from a bunch of the ladies I met. Not that we didn't get it on, I just didn't feel pressured.
Nothing has changed, the best way to do it, is the same as 100 years ago. See someone who is attractive to you....approach them....engage them in conversation.....depending on the way things feel, get a phone number. It's so much easier nowadays, you just whip out the cellphone and punch in their number. No need to dig for a pen, write a number on your arm, or on a receipt. The number can be checked, by texting it. So no more lost numbers because you lost that piece of paper,or forgot and washed your hands.
If you're a guy looking for sex, it's the golden age of dating. POF, OKCupid, Tinder, etc.
+1, this too, the internet is really a boom for this, if you understand how to use it as a tool. It's not gender specific, plenty of women use it to hook up only.
It's ****. I'm 22 and haven't been on a date since July. Online dating can work but it takes a lot of effort to weed through bad people and those who aren't interested and frankly I have better things to do with my time.
I think meeting people in real life is still the way to go, but it's not always easy.
From what I see now days. Put the phone away! There are people everywhere. Put yourself in situations to meet some one. That way, you can call the shoots so to speak with meeting some one.
This is it exactly!
