Aw. I was going to start with what you are considering doing, on all fronts. From your initial idea of saying something at the interview, to your consideration of callingherworkplace, and asking her out.
Just bad ideas from top to bottom. Way to set yourself up for failure.
Attractive women are way more plentiful than decent jobs, so I would never risk a shot at the latter for a shot at the former, just from a basic supply-and-demand perspective.
Asking her out would set a bad precedent for you if you were to get hired. Companies aren't fond of employees hooking up as it is and this is no way to show them that you won't be solely looking to dip your wick into company ink...lots of different company ink.
You should have felt her material. It worked so well for George Costanza.
