Most of the stories about guys meeting Craigslist girls in my town end with them being robbed and beaten in the hotel room by the goon she brings with her.
Either that or being arrested for solicitation of prostitution.
The women I've seen on craigslist are absolutely the bottom of the barrel. I've never seen one who was attractive (who was real). I'd never meet anyone on that website at this point.
Craigslist, while sketchy, has a worse reputation than it deserves IMO. I've gotten dates from there before and they turned out great. Sold my car and bought some items from there as well with no problems.
That said, just because it may not deserve all of its criticisms doesn't mean it should be your first choice.
I've heard nothing but negative about craigslist....
I hear it's got some straight out just sex only hook ups for anonymous sex... I wonder if that's just prostitution fronts.... most likely.... anyways, you should steer clear of it, like some posted, it could just be a ruse to lure men and rob them, I think that actually happened, heard something about it on the radio.
In my experience, yes. The free OLD sites are a joke. Similar to craigslist, they tend to primarily attract folks from the bottom of the barrel. Not always, but primarily. I've only been able to date nothing but low-quality women from OKC. You're far better off doing the IRL approach, via Meetup groups and co-ed sports leagues. The paid OLD sites might be better, I've just never used them.
This girl I know said she put up a Craig's List ad. In like six hours she said she had over 150 pictures of wieners in her inbox. It can happen, but man the real life non computer way is so much easier/better. I implore you to get your out the house and meet actual people.
