what is the most you have spent on a date? whether that be the meal or the drinks or the outfit you wore on the date , what is the most you have a ever spent on a date?
But to answer the question: I know I've dropped over 1k on crazy dinner dates before....2k including the birthday gift for my gf at the time. But this was in vegas during my "pro poker" period, where:
a) some restaurants are simply absurdly high priced (but delicious)
b) I could easily have just won a ton of money and been more inclined to go crazy with my spending that particular evening

Not that much. Maybe about $100 for a birthday dinner.
Stopped by a place close to me called Delmonicos some years ago back when I was just dating my wife. They had a lobster dinner special for $79.99. I thought it was $79.00 for TWO plates but it was just $79.00 for PER plate. We both ordered the special, and it was sooooo good that I thought "Wow, what a deal, lets order another one and share it.". Then we also had dessert that I also thought was "for two" at $20.00 but it was only $20.00 each IF you bought two. Add this with a couple of glasses of cabernet and when the bill came I was like "OOOOOOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!"
When it comes to just dinner, things to beware of....menus with no prices, and dates who like to drink wine. I've spend much more doing birthday weekends, etc. It's amazing what the tally is when you take a woman to a resort hotel, and hook them up with a full service spa retreat. The return on that investment, pays back huge.

A few times I've gotten two Royal Flush' in one day. We partied hard & were able to eat well after that.....
