I wanted to but didn't. Probably the right move I think, just got to continue moving on. If anyone did call or text their ex over Christmas, what was the result?
My ex called me on Christmas eve. Quite frankly, I was not very happy about the "test" "games" that we still played with each other. We both knew that he did not call to just wish me a Merry Christmas, he called to see if there was anybody new in my life.
I am glad that he called, but there was no emotional attachment anymore. I have moved on. So no result.
What I meant was that for years I did wish my ex husband dead. I was angry at him for all my disappointment in our marriage.
Eventually I got over that. I no longer wish him dead. These days I might even stop and help him out. Yesterday we even waved to each other. 5 years ago, there was a greater chance of us running over each other...
Why do they do this? Especially when they are already in a new relationship.
ego, curiosity, unresolved emotion issue, playing games, etc.
My ex is not in a new relationship, so I understand why he had to call. We did not end the relationship because of loss of love. After a while though, I just wanted to move on. Time heals all wounds.
