Date a childless BP or BPD person that is off meds or not getting professional help. They have worse issues than a single parent, trust me.
Well, I wouldn't date a man who isn't off his meds but yes would prefer him over a dad. This is what people don't get, some of us would date someone with issues as long as those issues aren't kids. I like kids I just don't want to deal with those issues.

That is fine. Just stop making inaccurate assumptions when justifying your position.
Are you aware of the OP's history? she does have a lot of drama.
In all fairness, OP is not everyone else. I have a co-worker who I'd highly consider not a kid-friendly person. But she is dating a guy who has a kid and she seems to have completely fallen for both of them. There seems to be minimal drama in his life, and I say this, because she does not handle drama that well.
some men, including myself, will date single mothers with one kid, but not single mothers with more than one kid. I think most of the positive true stories of women dating with children involve only one child. I suspect some of the positive stories told in this thread are more fantasy than reality.

But the reality is in most cases there are issues. Obviously this isn't every case but I've only come across the worst of the worst when I dated single dads.

I have a few cousins who probably fall into that category (like the men you dated) and it's pretty pathetic. I think a lot of how it plays out depends on age, maturity, and intelligence of all parties involved.

I think all of that plays along with it along with whether there are any hurt feelings (like one was dumped). It makes sense because when someone has a kid with another person they are bonded and when the bond is broken it changes the dynamic.

You think I have drama? I would hate to see what you say about people that really do have ex drama.
My oldest childs father died when I was pregnant. He has been eerily quiet. My sons father is not in the picture currently. He does not have my number and we have no contact. No contact means no drama.

How did the first father die, if you don't mind me asking?
