As a short than average guy I wear elevator shoes. They give me an extra 4 inches in height. The shoes look like regular shoes and have a heel built into the inside.

So my question is…You meet a guy and he seems really cool. You go out on a date or two and then comes the third date. The third date you decide to go to the beach. At the beach, with no shoes on, you find out he is four inches shorter than you thought he was. What would you do? Would you break up with him? How would you feel?

I wear 4 inch heels anyways so it wouldn't make a difference to me. As long as he doesn't have a 4" something else.

Not everyone does. Maybe there is underwire for support. Maybe there is padding or a molded cup so you don't flash your nips. Maybe there is both.

But not all bras are pushup. In fact the last time I wore a real push up bra was like 15 years ago... I don't think most women wear them on any regular basis.

So you would have no problem that he was taller and then you find out he is shorter than you, or at least shorter than you expected because he wears shoes with 4 inch lifts.

I know a girl that was dating my friend, he was wearing similar shoes, this girl prefers guys taller than 6ft. He went over to her house and took his shoes off and she was shocked, so after that point she preffered to see a guy with no shoes on first just to be sure.

Don't care. To me, it's no different than me wearing heels, makeup, Spanx, etc. Whatever you choose to use to play up your looks, it makes no difference to me.

I'm also a good three inches taller than my longtime S.O., and that's never been an issue, either. This may tell you something about my perspective. Height doesn't really carry much weight with me.

To be honest I think you might be setting yourself up for an unpleasant experience. I'm not very tall myself but I wouldn't resort to wearing elevator shoes. Four inches in height is a lot of difference. A guy who's five foot seven would appear to be five foot eleven which would change the appearance of being short to being relatively tall. Matters would be much worse if you started to date a woman who thought you were taller than she was but when you hopped off of your shoes she was several inches taller than you. My suggestion would be to be up front about it immediately and simply tell her how tall you actually are and explain to her that you just feel better about yourself if you appear taller. That will prevent any embarrassing moments and she will probably appreciate your honesty.

True. I hadn't had seriously padded bra for quite some time and now it feels kinda weird "wearing" different boobs every day. I wasn't seeking it deliberately; I've been just desperate finding bras I like lately.

Montana Guy may be right...It wouldn't bother me, but I won't pretend that I'm indicative of most women.
