Body all day. I love a nice backside. Must be something in my genes.
A nice shapely body will almost always trump an unattractive face.
Same can be said for guys. Women love a man with a nice physique.
I agree with you. I'd much rather date a guy with a nice body and an average face. But it seems that most people are the opposite.

This doesn't explain all of the out of shape men who manage to find SO's
I sincerely hope the OP made this thread for a little fun and not because they think all men and women think a like along gender lines.
Do you notice a woman's body or face first?
In public are you more likely to check out a woman's body or face?
Ladies you can answer too if you want.
I definitely check out and notice a guy's body first.
I am in the minority probably, but I am honest. The body by a mile. Legs, all the way then followed by overall tone. I love to hike and man I love the trail walking ladies on a summer day. I obviously prefer a pretty face to a terribly hideous one, but would rather have a plain looking fit woman than a pretty face on an unfit one. I am not horrible judgmental since I am no 10 myself, but if I had my druthers it would be body first.
I'm a woman and I notice the face right away, followed shortly by body. But I agree with the poster who said that they appreciate a more "weighty" physique. I don't prefer skinny men or super muscular men.
That being said however, its ultimately the whole package fitting together that works best for me
On a guy: height, style/whatever he's doing, then face. My friend has an amazing body for a man, imo (6'5" 275), big and perfectly chubby, not too big. I actually don't find thin men to be very attractive and don't even notice them because theyre too small to compete.
Guys who are "husky" or "brawny" can be very sexy.
Not fat as in obviously obese like NJ Gov. Chris Christie or Rush Limaugh ... extra weight is not a turn off if it's distributed well. Skinny guy with a beer belly is very unattractive. Skinny guys are not attractive.
Women who are on the plump side are sexy ... as long as they are not morbidly obese. Many of the most beautiful women stars of the golden age of Hollwood - Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Elizabeth Taylor would be considered "overweight" nowadays because the media idolizes skinny scrawny ladies.

Oh c'mon none of those ladies are on the plump side. Hollywood is appreciating (healthy) curves more and more these days.
Different men look at different things.
I know a guy who used to look at women's feet first and if she had high heels on he would pass her by even if she was very attractive physically.
He said he did not want to spend money that could go into retirement savings on an orthopedic surgeon to fix a woman's feet when she is older because she refuses to be practical and logical with her shoes.
Wow! I love high heels and muscular (to a point) legs. I have never looked at a woman in high heels and though about orthopedic surgeons at all. Very odd how one person's ideal look is another's turn off. But it reinforces the fact there is a person for everyone. I'll be there are a lot of ladies that don't wear high heels for those health related factors. It just never crossed my mind.
