My excuse is that I am immature and boring at the same time and this why I have trouble getting a girlfriend. I know both are a turnoff, but it seems like immature guys can do well with women if they're wild and fun (not boring) AND boring guys can do well with women if they're mature (have a great job, have they're stuff together, just overall a mature life). So does being both boring and immature at the same time sound like a legitimate excuse?
Why are you looking to legitimize an excuse for being single? Given that you want to have a relationship, why don't you just change these things about yourself? Maturity and boringness can be changed by the individual, especially one who is self-aware to realize they are problem areas.

I'll always be immature. I'm happy that way. And I'll probably always be a boring guy, I just don't have it in me to be fun/crazy.
