Why not? The sooner you tell him, the more time he will have to get his life in order to be a father in eight months and help support you. The longer you wait, the longer you delay him being able to make decisions about the future.

Let's face it...there is a good chance of that happening because he's being trapped into parenthood without it being talked about before hand.
Wait until you start showing and he asks you if you are gaining weight, then spring it on him by saying, "No, I'm not getting fat I'm pregnant!!" LOL!!!
How is he being "trapped"? He had a part in this pregnancy.
OP, did you trick this dude into getting you pregnant...tell him you were on the pill when you weren't? Poke holes in the condoms?
I said both were iressponsible about this.....but yeah.....guys should a,ways use condom even if a girl claims she's on a form of bc....shame on him for trusting.
